Our Services Club - Little Heros - is for the children in our school who have parents or guardians that serve in the HM Forces.
With our Services Club we aim to:
• Provide a listening ear and understanding in times of need.
• Provide a safe space to talk about feelings, with both adults and peers.
• Have fun and games
• Learn about their family member is in the world and plot them on our big map.
• Email letters and work we are proud of to ‘our special person’
Services club is run every Tuesday in the hut between 12.15-13.15 by Mrs S Roberts and Mrs N Shaw.
All Service Children from Year R to Year 6 can drop in with their lunch and stay for the whole session or just part of it, whichever they choose.
Every half term, we have a 'bring a friend' session where they share what services club is about with a friend who may not have any experience of HM Forces.
All Sessions have a structured activity linked with either the Forces or with something seasonal as well as social time.
