Along with our internal music curriculum, we also subscribe to the Hampshire Music Service. Hampshire Music Service provides experienced class music teachers to work with teachers and learning support assistants in schools to provide quality learning experiences for all children. HMS class teachers visit on a weekly basis throughout the year. An HMS class teacher supports the music manager in extending music provision in the school by developing the confidence of staff. The following guidelines have been produced to set a framework for the use of HMS class teachers that will maximise the benefit of their input.

Rocksteady
Rocksteady is the leading provider of in-school band lessons for primary age children. Band lessons take place in school on a weekly basis! All instruments for lessons are provided. Choose if they shine on vocals, keyboard, drums, guitar or bass. Rocksteady partners with thousands of primary schools across the country to deliver inclusive band lessons designed to amplify children’s self-belief, support wellbeing and help maximise their potential back in the classroom.
