Menu April 2023- October 2023

School Dinners

As the new school year begins, we wanted to take the opportunity to provide you with up to date information about the delicious school lunches provided by our amazing kitchen staff. To find out more about menus, special diets, theme days, competitions and much more, check out the HC3S website.

Please click here to apply for or to find out whether your child is eligible for free school meals. If your child qualifies for free school meals please tell us – even if they bring a packed lunch – as this enables us to claim the pupil premium.

Play times

At St Johns, we believe lunchtimes should be about having fun! Not only have we got a lunchtime rota with different zones which include games, a quiet area, a dancing/music area and a football zone, we also encourage good behavior.

A lunchtime supervisor might give your child a raffle ticket if they see them being polite, lining up nicely, walking sensibly, speaking quietly, having good manners or cleaning up after themselves.

If their name is pulled out during the Friday raffle, they will get to sit at the top table with Mrs Wilkinson or Mrs Havey; they would also get a longer lunch break and they would get some lemonade. Also, their will be in the newsletter that all parents get to see.
