The school uses Arbor MIS (management information system) as a school and parent bridge. We will ask you to download a free app from google play or the apple store.

What is Arbor and what does it do?

The app will tell you your child’s attendance, contact details we hold for you, and information on visits and clubs. You can make payments for trips, clubs and residentials on the app, and order uniform.  You can also book parents evening appointments.

The office will send out in-app messages and emails about communication and reminders.

 

How to get started

• Download the Arbor app from the google play or the apple store. Once your child has been admitted to the school on the first day of term you will be able to sign into the app

OR

• Go to https://login.arbor.sc and click FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD? This should send a link to your email. This is the email address you provided when applying for a space.

• Enter your email – If you have recently changed your email, please let us know.

• Select the school – if prompted for the postcode it is PO12 4JH   

• Enter a password that you have chosen.

• Enter your child’s date of birth – if the app does not recognise the date of birth, please let the office know. This is the standard response when the app has an issue, and does not mean we have the date of birth wrong.

If you have any queries, please contact the office team at admin-office@st-johns-gosport.hants.sch.uk We may ask you to bring your device into the office so we can help you to get set up.

 

Things to know

If you get locked out, please let us know we can send you a password reset link. The links are only live for 96 hours so please change your password asap!

Only relatives who are primary guardians of a child can access the app.

 

To safeguard student data in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Arbor only works directly with schools.

School Grid

St Johns outsource our catering to Dolce. You can find more information about Dolce here - https://www.dolce.co.uk/education-catering/primary-school/ 

Payments are made directly to Dolce via the School Grid Website. SchoolGrid or you can pay via cash at the office.

Parents need to log into School Grid to pre-order dinners. You can pre-order up to a whole term in advance! There are 4 choices every day. You can pre-order up to 9am each morning. If you do not pre-order, your child can choose in class in the morning.
